The Fire Tech Center uses various resources and methods, which includes fire tests and non-flammability tests, to define materials and equipments:

• FAR25.853 – Vertical Bunsen burner test
• FAR25.856.a – Flame propagation test
• FAR25.856.b – Burnthrough test
• ISO2685 / AC 20-135 with various environmental conditions (Vibration, pressure, Airflow…)
• Thermal Conductivity test bench (ASTM C177)
• Smoke Density
• Smoke Toxicity

Hutchinson Aerospace Services has a unique expertise in Non Destructive Testing and possesses qualified people to perform all kind of NDT inspections ranging from Penetrant Fluorescent Inspection to Magnetic Particle Inspection.

Hutchinson Aerospace Services acquired a 3D Scan and trained its staff in order to support its current and future customers.
The scanner tool used is the Handy Scan 700 from CreaForm with its software (VxModel) and an associated station.
